I got together with a Carpenter friend (as, back in the day, l waxed, polished and oiled pieces of his pine furniture).
After speaking with him about a chest of drawers l wanted, it was suggested that with his help and expert guidance (and the right tools of course), we make it together... This process involved a lot of learning of tools required, precision cutting of 1-inch thick pine, together with drilling, dowling, glueing, clamping, sanding and polishing. I learned a lot throughout this process, most of which l thoroughly enjoyed but adding the sliders to the drawers was a real pain in the ass!!!
But finally, after many hours and days spent, a bad back and grazed fingers, l am now the proud owner of my own solid creation. Yeah.
My motto, better late than never.
